About the wine
We have a special, provocative Negroamaro from 2011 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. The winemaker from the Italian winery Vinagri / Paolo Leo masters this red wine with sensitivity and intuition in the blooming and sunny landscape in Puglia. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Negroamaro can be served very well with pasta Bolognese or venison goulash.
Tasting note
The Paolo Leo Salice Salentino is dense and full of character. The two autochthonous grape varieties Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera and the twelve-month storage in large oak barrels play a decisive role in this. The nose is characterized by aromas of black, dried fruits and an earthy note. Round and balanced on the finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with heavier appetizers, roasts and aged cheeses.
