About the wine

In the 6th generation, since 1827, the Cosandier family has been producing wines from the beautiful area of the south foot of the Jura on Lake Biel. Schafis, the small village with around 100 inhabitants, is located on the northern shore of Lake Biel opposite Lake Biel. The vineyards at the southern foot of the Jura and on the shores of the lake result in an ideal combination with the soil elements provided by nature and ideal solar radiation. The mild microclimate provides an ideal basis for vines and grapes.
