About the wine
The provocative red wine 2015 — Siniscalco Primitivo IGP Puglia is the missing piece of the puzzle on your wine rack. The winemaker from the Italian winery Casa Vinicola Coppi masters this red wine with sensitivity and intuition in the fertile and sunny landscape of Puglia. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Primitivo can be served very well with red meat or Brasato.
Tasting note
The nose is quite intense and persistent, fruity, reminiscent of cherries and pickled sour cherries. The palate is dry, soft, fairly fresh and tannic, spicy, full-bodied and full-bodied.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with cooked ham in bread dough, dumplings with cream sauce, sausages and potatoes, game, sausage and aged cheese.
Vinification
All-alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature, followed by complete malolactic fermentation to give the wine a velvety note on the palate and higher temporal stability. Ageing for about 6 months in steel tanks and at least 10 months in bottle.
