About the wine
A must for connoisseurs, this outstanding Scheurebe 2012 — TBA Welschriesling Zwischen den Seen No. 5! Picturesque landscapes of Burgenland give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Austrian winery Alois Kracher conjures up this white wine with refinement and sensitivity. Flaschenpost team promises a culinary experience if you offer this Scheurebe with Asian dishes or dessert.
Falstaff: 97
Tasting note
Delicately smoky on the nose, fine herbal spices, lime zest, very freshly structured on the palate, racy acid structure, fully ripe vineyard peach, delicate of fresh tangerine pieces. The finish is tropical fruit, slightly smoky and an animating freshness.
Culinary recommendation
Comte cheese matured for 20 months with rye bread, epoisses, mango variation, carpaccio sorbet and flamed.
