Tasting note
Dense, brilliant ruby, purple shimmer, color tight. Typical aromas of ripe, velvety plum notes, figs, dried fruit, citrus, fine earthy nuance of undergrowth, subtle notes of scrub, fine spiciness. Very long start, seductive fruit sweetness, strong body, good tannins, fine, still present acidity, wonderfully aromatic in the aftertaste. Harmonious, full-bodied wine of great quality with potential.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Beijing style lamb kidney pieces marinated in rice wine, high-back steak with Provencal vegetables and fried potatoes.
