About the wine
Sunny and blooming landscapes of the Douro Valley give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Portuguese winery Quinta do Crasto conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. You will definitely have a lot of fun with the delicious Tinta Roriz DOC Douro, which was produced in 2014.

Tasting note
The wine has a deep purple color and shows elegant aromas of gum cistus that are well integrated with complex notes of fresh spices and wild berry fruits. On the palate, it is balanced and develops into a powerful wine with aromas of red berries, excellent volume and firm, structured tannins. It is a sophisticated, gastronomic wine with a fresh, persistent finish.

Vinification
The best grapes from the best plots are brought to the winery in 22 kg plastic crates, and then trampled on in traditional stone tanks (lagar). The juice is transferred to stainless steel tanks. Fermentation lasts approximately 10 days. Once the alcoholic fermentation is complete, the grapes are gently pressed using hydraulic presses and aged in new French oak barrels.
