About the wine
Give yourself and your guests a treat for the senses with the first-class Toscana IGT Orizzonte from 2015! The winemaker from the Italian winery Donna Olimpia 1898 has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and refinement are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the flourishing and fertile Tuscan countryside.
Tasting note
The orrizonte shows an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it has complex notes of black berry fruit, blackberries, cassis, blueberries and sloe, followed by delicate herbal notes, rosemary and a little pepper. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with fine tannins and a strong body. The finish is smooth, with fine wood notes and slightly salty nuances.

Vinification
Donna Olimpia's Toscana IGT Orizzonte 2016 consists of pure Petit Verdot. The wine matured for over 15 months in French oak barrels, half of which consists of new and used wood. It was then stored in the bottle for a further 12 months.
