About the wine
Picturesque landscapes of Burgenland give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Austrian winery Esterhazy conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. With this distinctive red wine 2015 — Zweigelt Classic Burgenland Qualitätswein, the term taste takes on a new meaning. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you serve this Zweigelt with boiled beef or beef tartare.
Tasting note
Color: Dark ruby red with purple reflections. Aromas: heart cherry, dark blackberry notes backed by a delicate touch of nougat, a fine peppery spice sets the counterpoint. Body: Very long start, seductive, sweet-looking fruit, well-integrated acidity and tannins, elegant body, long-lasting fruity aftertaste. Quality: Drinking fun from a good house.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pies, goulash, wild fowl, stuffed veal breast, grilled meat, fish and fine soft cheese.
