About the wine
The Casa Vinicola Fazio was born at the end of the 90s from the commitment of a family that has dedicated themselves to the art of viticulture and the production of quality wines for four generations. The wines are an authentic reflection of the terroir of the Erice area, which is characterized by untouched nature. On the one hand, you can see the beauty of the Stagnone di Marsala, the salt mines and the beautiful Egadi Islands and, on the other hand, the Sicilian hinterland of Trapani. Thanks to the work of Director Lilly Ferro, the winery is known far beyond borders, particularly in restaurants and wine bars.
Tasting note
Straw yellow with a slightly greenish shimmering color. Intense, sophisticated and elegant scent of flowers and exotic fruits. Complex, full-bodied and harmonious on the palate with mineral notes. Persistent departure.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitifs, appetizers, freshly caught fish and crustaceans.
Vinification
Harvest, stripping and cold maceration at 4°C, gently pressing the berries and fermenting at a controlled temperature of 14-16°C. Then aged on yeast for 4 months, cold bottling.
