About the wine
The gravelly, slate soils in Burgundy form the breeding ground for this Pinot Noir. The winemaker from the French winery Moillard-Grivot knows how to use them and delights us with this red wine. A must for connoisseurs, this powerful Pinot Noir 2013 — Cote de Nuits-Villages ac M.-Grivot M.O.! Flaschenpöstler tip: Pair this Pinot Noir with duck or red meat.
Tasting note
Color: Intense, bright cherry red with sparkling purple reflections. Aroma: compote-like, fragrant, classic bouquet, cherries, raspberries, strawberries, fine vanilla pulp, earthy and vegetable nuances, delicate wood notes. Body: Medium richness on the palate, elegant with good, present acidity, and strong tannins, fine notes of development on the palate. Quality: A classic burgundy, Pinot Noir shows off its beautiful side.

It goes well with oeufs en meurette, jambon persillé and coq au vin.
