About the wine
The Assuli winery is located in western Sicily near the town of Marsala. Roberto Caruso, the owner, is a real DOC Sicilian, so to speak. In 1948, his father Roberto founded the company. Today, Assuli is one of the region's top producers and constantly receives national and international awards of great value. The winery is dedicated to the autochthonous grape varieties. King, is and remains, the Nero D'Avola, this philosophy carries the Assuli winery out into the world.

Tasting note
Ruby red with purple hues. Intense on the nose, with complex aromas of ripe fruits. Balanced on the palate, again with lots of fruit and a nice balance between acidity and full taste.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The recommended enjoyment phase of this wine is in the following period: 2 - 7 years after harvest.
