About the wine
With the powerful Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 — Marques de Borbas tinto, you can offer your guests something very special. The winemaker from the Portuguese winery Bodegas Ramos masters this red wine with sensitivity and intuition in the sunny and picturesque landscape of the Alentejo. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience if you offer this Cabernet Sauvignon with Gruyère burgers or pizza with mushrooms.
Tasting note
Rich ruby red with distinctive purple reflections and black core. Pure, multi-faceted, ripe fruity, dark berries of cassis and boiled blackberries, subtle roasted aromas, spicy clove scent, vanilla and cocoa, floral. Long start, strong and robust on the palate, present in acidity and tannins, sweet-looking fruit, warming. Impressive, vinous wine, strong style yet closed.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled meat, meatloaf, roast pork with plum sauce and ripe hard cheese.
