About the wine
This strong Pinot Noir 2015 — Marsannay Les Echezeaux AC is a hit right down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! The gravelly, loamy soils in Burgundy form the breeding ground for this Pinot Noir. The winemaker from the French winery Faiveley knows how to use them and delights us with this red wine. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Pinot Noir is ideal with cheese or salmon.
Tasting note
Nice, brilliant ruby red color. The Marsannay 'Les Echezeaux' reveals a berry bouquet with aromas of blackberries and plums. On the palate, it is opulent, fruity and with a long finish.

Vinification
The grapes picked by hand are fermented for approx. 18-20 days. After a very gentle pressing process, the young wine is aged in barriques for approx. 14 months (25% new French oak barriques). The wine then rests in steel tanks for about 2 months before being bottled.
