A Rosé de Saignée made from Pinot grapes from the steep Les Rougemonts vineyard, aged for seven months in wooden barrels, then left on the lees in the bottle for at least two years. The nose reveals red-berry aromas, some cherry and plum, along with notes of lilac and finely roasted smoky tones. Powerful, clear on the palate, with good substance and a gripping acid structure. Good length with a delicately mineral-tart finish.
