About the wine

Picturesquely situated in the middle of a total of 17 ha, the Weingut Pfeffingen is considered a Palatinate model farm. Winegrowing is carried out with a lot of passion and passion and the goal is always pursued to produce individual and characterful wines. It is the life's work of Karl and Helene Fuhrmann. Since 1991, their daughter Doris Eymael (née Fuhrmann) has been running the company together with the following two generations and since 2002 her son Jan Eymael has taken over the management.

Tasting note
Elegant balance between acidity, alcohol and sugar. Ripe peach, apricot and stone fruits on the nose. On the palate, a lot of strength, melting and minerality with a pleasant finish.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team recommends this Riesling “limestone” dry with mushrooms, Asian food and shrimps.
