Tasting note
The name Schiena d'Asino (donkey's back) is reminiscent of the shape of the hill where the grapes of this impressive Brunello tires. From the start, this hectare plot of the best grapes harvested and in aged separately as a vineyard wine for excellent years and bottled. The Schiena d'Asino is considered Mastrojanni's flagship product. In This wine has all the facets of its own character the local Sangiovese Grosso grape for use. The wine Is produced in 1600 liter barrels for 42 months Aged Allier oak. The production is around 5000 bottles.
