Cuvée consisting of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Sangiovese and 15% Merlot, aged for 12 months in used 300 liter oak barrels. The wine then ages in the bottle for at least another 12 months. The first nose contact shows fine Cabernet spice, aromas of blueberries and some plum, plus fine notes of blooming herbs and violets, backed by a subtle cocoa powder and nougat touch. Juicy palate, with nice fruit and good freshness, present but wonderfully fine tannins and a delicately tart iron note in the finish.
