The Tanagra Heavenly Chaos 2017 is a heavenly fruity cuvée of 74% Merlot and 13% Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc respectively. Raspberry, cassis and red plums on the nose, the same fruit aromas and soft, velvety tannins on the palate. McGregor is a single vineyard (ward) in the Robertson District, Breede River Valley region. All wines are grown on their own farm. The production is 300 boxes. Only the best berries from the best locations on the farm are processed under the label “Tanagra”. The berries are fermented without squeezing them. Fermentation takes place using wild yeast. The wines are neither filtered nor clarified. All wines have excellent storage potential.
