About the wine
Single-layer Chardonnay with clear aromas and a focused, tight palate. From one of Hawke's Bay's outstanding growers from a great vintage.

Tasting note
Peach, apple and grapefruit aromas are supported by brioche and nougat. On the palate, it has a full body with peach, grapefruit, apple and a bit of wet stone. An elegant wine with lots of energy and remarkable freshness. A creamy texture results in a long finish with excellent balance.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with baked chicken with buttery sauce.
Vinification
100% of the grapes were harvested by hand and then pressed as whole grapes in French oak barriques for fermentation. The wine was fermented with wild yeasts and spent 11 months in oak wood before bottling; there was no fining or cold stabilization.
