About the wine
The winemaker from the Swiss winery E. Waldvogel & Fils has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the fertile and sunny landscape of Vaud. You will definitely enjoy the delicious Yvorne AOC Cymaise, which was produced in 2016.
Tasting note
The soil from the 16th century earth and stone slides gives this yvorne its unmistakable mineral tone. It smells of vine blossoms, flint, ripe stone fruit and some almond. On the palate, it is slightly creamy with a pleasant freshness and a long-lasting mineral finish. A very balanced and full-bodied white wine from beautiful Yvorne.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitifs, Vaud specialities, appetizers, poultry, fish dishes such as perch fillets meunières, cold meat platters and ripe cheeses.
Vinification
The grapes for this Yvorne come from the steep slope above the village, which surrounds the 'Winzerhüsli' pictured on the label. They are read by hand and are traditionally aged in temperature-controlled steel tanks. As a rule, 100% of the biodegradation is carried out.
