Altos de la Hoya Finca Hoya de Santa Ana DO 2021 - Bodegas Olivares

About the wine

With this provocative Grenache 2015 — Altos de la Hoya Finca Hoya de Santa Ana DO, the term taste takes on a new meaning. Graceful landscapes in Levante give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Olivares conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Grenache with red meat or spicy dishes.

Tasting note
The aromas on the nose are characterized by spiciness: eucalyptus, tarragon, juniper and black olives dominate. The fruity components, such as ripe apple or plum sauce, remain in the background. On the palate, the Altos de la Hoya is the robust type, with an equally spicy taste, but also has aromas of black berries and cooked quince. Pure drinking pleasure!
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 1-6 years after harvest. Flaschenpost team is recommended with vegetables, spicy dishes and spicy foods.
Vinification
Information on vinification: After hand-picking the grapes from the vineyards of the “Finca Hoya de Santa Ana” and careful transport to the bodega, they are macerated at 25º C for 14 days and then fermented.
