About the wine
If you're looking for something special, don't miss out on this provocative Grenache 2017 — Mabre Empordà DO. To get a feel for the barren landscape aesthetics in Catalonia, there is no way around this white wine, which the Spanish winery Empordàlia masters with a keen sense of texture. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this grenache with burgers with blue cheese or vegetables.

Tasting note
Color: Light lemon yellow with green reflections. Aroma: White flowers such as jasmine and cinnamon cassia dominate. The aromas are rounded off by coconut and vanilla. Character: Elegant and accessible on the palate. Full-bodied with notes of Mediterranean fruits, once again exotic coconut and a hint of mint on the finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Catalan dishes, especially Zarzuela; (selection of fish & seafood cooked in wine broth with onions, tomatoes, peppers and garlic), squid and foie gras or to enjoy as a great spring wine.
