About the wine
If we can offer something special for Easter 2022, it will be this provocative Sauvignon Blanc 2019 Sauvignon I Cedri DOC. Sunny and fertile landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Cantina RATTI conjures up this white wine with refinement and experience. The Flaschenpost team guarantees a culinary experience when you offer this Sauvignon Blanc with fish or white meat.

Tasting note
Straw yellow color with greenish reflections. Intense and delicate aroma of white peach, grapefruit and green tomato leaves. Full and savory flavor.

Goes well with aperitifs, various starters, leeks, fish and white meat.
Vinification
I Cedri was the first white wine produced by the Ratti winery and comes from a small vineyard of just under one hectare. It is a complex wine that, after a good maturation in the bottle, also has interesting and pleasant mineral notes. The grapes are harvested by hand in September and then gently pressed. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel containers and ends with 12-15 months of storage on the lees with repeated bâtonnage in barriques.
