Grape variety: 100% Mencia The vines are between 45 - 55 years old and lie at 450 - 580 m above sea level. The grapes are harvested by hand. After alcoholic fermentation The wine is aged for approx. 7 months in French barriques. Character: The fruit aromas typical of the Mencia grape (brommberries and cassis) are harmoniously balanced with the woody notes (vanilla, some smoke, coconut) and a mineral component. Long lasting, with good structure and great elegance.
